Pink Magic Ingredients

Timeout! What is cAMP and cGMP?

I’ll do my best to put it in layman’s terms. cAMP is an important messenger used to transfer signals between cells. It transfers the effects of hormones such as glucagon and adrenaline, which cannot pass through cell membranes. Its jobs include the regulation of glycogen, sugar, and lipid metabolism (it helps burn fat!).[3]

cAMP is produced by the ever-important ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) when a lot of energy is required. Every cell in our body stores and uses energy through ATP. It is the energy currency. Obviously, weightlifting requires a ready supply of easily mobilized energy.

The ATP molecule is like a battery. It is generated from glucose, and water helps break it down into usable energy. When extra energy is needed, cAMP is made from the extra Phosphate group (one of the 3 P’s in the triPhosphate).

Put simply, cAMP = great for energy requirements and fat burning.
