Pink Magic and Drug Tests
We are frequently asked if Pink Magic is legal and if it will cause you to fail any drug tests.
Pink Magic Drug Tests?
First, if you are currently being drug-tested, we highly encourage you to speak to your sponsor about anything you ingest – including, but not limited to dietary supplements, over the counter, and prescription medications.
There are two things to consider with Pink Magic and drug-testing:
First, does the drug test ban any of the specific ingredients of Pink Magic? Currently, the 2010-2011 NCAA banned substances list mentions NONE of the ingredients. Further, the even-stricter 2010 WADA Banned Substances list mentions none of the ingredients either, so Pink Magic is not actively being tested for.
Second, it’s important to consider your testosterone levels if being drug tested on Pink Magic. If PinkMagic was to raise testosterone levels to an extreme level – well above what is considered “within normal range”, then a drug tester can claim anabolic use. This is a subjective criteria, however, and we have not seen Pink Magic raise levels anywhere near steroid/anabolic usage, so there is no need to worry.
It is suggested that a 50 to 1 Testosterone to Estrogen ratio is normal for young males, although this drops in the 30s. If your levels are far beyond this, you may fail a drug test, so come prepared. Pink Magic raises testosterone naturally, unlike steroids, so it doesn’t skew this enough to cause alarms.
Either way, if you are playing in a sport or are in a job role that performs drug tests, check with your rep before taking ANY dietary supplement, including Pink Magic.
